Dancing Bear Farm Growing naturally since 1981 ESTABLISHED IN 1981, Dancing Bear Farm is located in the small town of Leyden, Massachusetts in the foothills of the Green Mountains at an elevation of about 1200 feet. We grow over 100 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, as well as garlic, onions, shallots, leeks, peppers, strawberries, lettuce, carrots, potatoes, sweet corn, winter squashes and pumpkins. Our goal is to produce high quality food while being a steward of the land. We were one of the first farms in Massachusetts to receive organic certification and while we have chosen not to participate in the current National Organic Program, our growing methods remain the same.
